Mucous membranes - Moist, healthy pink color

Common Vital Sign Mistakes |
|
Not leaving the thermometer in long enough (false low temperature reading)
|
|
Taking vital signs on a nervous horse (horses' pulse and respiration rates can increase dramatically if they are nervous.)
|
|
Allowing the horse to sniff your hand to measure respiration rate (they will sniff far more quickly than their regular breathing rates)
|
|
Double-counting heartbeats (lub-dub=one beat)
|

Combine in a 16 oz bottle:
15 drops of lavender oil
3-4 Tbsp of vanilla extract
10 drops of lemon eucalyptus oil
¼ cup lemon juice
Fill bottle with water.
Shake well and it is ready to use.You can also spray this on yourself
